Frequently Asked Questions
What is the process for root canal treatment?
Root canals require two or three appointments to complete. During the appointments we will clean out the bacteria causing the infection from your tooth (or teeth).
Is root canal treatment painful?
It’s not nearly as painful as the infection itself! A local anesthetic is used to numb the area so you won’t feel anything while you are being treated. Once the numbness wears off, you can expect the treated area to only feel a bit tender for a few days afterwards.
