While the name Authentic Dentistry is new, our practice has been providing comprehensive dental care to Canberrans for over 20 years. Dr Michael Back is the Principal Dentist whose positive, friendly nature and professional dental care will ensure you feel welcome. Dr Harini Vallal also joined our team in 2020. About Dr Michael Back

Michael was born and raised in Canberra. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering at Wollongong University and worked as an engineer for several years before obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Adelaide University. He is a diligent worker winning the University award for academic excellence and leadership. Michael has built up a loyal client base of patients working in Canberra since 2012.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. On the weekends you will find him out mountain biking, skiing or coaching his kids soccer teams.
